The NIRI Philadelphia Chapter invites you for a holiday social and an impactful volunteering experience on December 12, 2023. The event will be held at Cradles to Crayons, a Philadelphia charity that collects, inspects, sorts and distributes essential items to children in our area experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness.
Note: Please extend this invitation to your ESG, social responsibility, community engagement, DEI, or other team members who may benefit from learning about Cradles to Crayons and their incredible work in our community. Additionally, please know that Cradles to Crayons accepts slightly used children's clothing, jackets and shoes that you may wish to donate at the Giving Factory.

Who:
This event is open to all NIRI Philadelphia members. We also request that you extend this invite to the ESG, social responsibility, community engagement, DEI, or other team members who may benefit from learning about Cradles to Crayons' mission and community impact.
What to expect:
We'll begin the evening with food, drinks and networking in their new conference space. Leaders from Cradles to Crayons will provide an overview of the organization and explain how our work will help their mission. While volunteering, we'll be sorting, sizing, and packaging the essential goods which will be distributed to children across the Philadelphia region and beyond. Additionally, the chapter will be making a $50 contribution for all NIRI Philadelphia members who attend.
Dress code:
Casual! Please dress comfortably with closed toe shoes.
Donations:
Cradles to Crayons accepts new and gently used children's clothing, jackets, coats, and shoes, along with school supplies, books, and new boxes of diapers and other baby/child hygiene items. Please feel free to clean out your closets ahead of time and bring along! These donations are critical to Cradles to Crayons' success.
T-Shirt:
NIRI Philadelphia members will receive a chapter t-shirt during this event. Please include your shirt size as part of the registration.
